Privacy
Life Coaching and Counselling are private experiences shared by client and coach/counsellor. What is said in our sessions is strictly confidential. I am a member of the Australian Counselling Association, and I adhere to the Association’s Code of Ethics and respect your right to confidentiality.
When I refer you to another practitioner, for example to an acupuncturist for bodywork, I will disclose to that person only the information they need to make their treatment with you as effective as possible.
I am required by law to resport to the relevant agencies if you intend harm to yourself or to others; and in certain cases the notes I make can be required by courts; but these are the only exclusions to the confidentiality agreement I will ask you to sign before we begin working together.
