EFT Tapping On A Page

With compliments of Sandy Kumskov, EFT specialist

EFT Meridian Tapping is a powerful procedure to help you process your emotions easily, privately, and completely!

Step 1 – Name the problem, clearly, directly and truthfully.

Step 2 – On a scale of 1-10, how bad is the problem? 0= calm or absent, 10=volcano.

Step 3 – Setup – “Even though [I have this problem], I deeply and completely accept myself” – speak three times out loud, while rubbing the Sore Spot (point C) or tapping the Karate chop point (point A on the fleshy side of the hand ). For example: “Even though I feel so angry about what he said to me, I deeply and completely love and accept myself”

Step 4 – Using two fingers, rapidly tap each of points numbered 1—7, 7- 10 times each, starting from point 1 (eyebrow) and ending with point 8 (rib). While tapping each point, say a keyword or phrase that helps keep your mind focussed on the issue, for example, “this anger”.

Step 5 – Check the number again.

  • If your number hasn’t changed, or has gotten higher, go back to step 1 and see if you’re still thinking about the exact same thing. Often we move on to a related thought or another aspect of the problem. If you are thinking about a different aspect, try to go back to the first issue and check on your rating of that. Complete the round of tapping on that issue before moving on to another, if possible.
  • If your number has lowered yet some remains, go on to step 6.
  • If you still make no progress, make note of the problem and email me.

Step 6 – While rubbing the sore spot, change the Setup to:

“Even though there is still some of [ this anger], I deeply and completely love and accept myself.” Return to step 4 adding the word “remaining” -  “remaining [anger]”.

Step 7 – If, after using the new Setup in step 6, you’re still not at a 1 or 0 for this issue, do a complete round of tapping again using this setup:

“I really want to get completely over [this anger], and I deeply and completely love and accept myself anyway.” Return to step 4 using keywords: “completely over” – meaning “completely over this [anger]”. Hopefully you’ll be at 0 or 1.

Rinse and repeat for any and every issue that’s not working in your life. For more information and a powerful guided process, visit the Personal Peace Procedure Journal page, and download your copy of the journal for just $7!!

Its nice to have it just simplified, rather than to look for it in the book. Its so much quicker than the “recipe” for EFT.

    Hi Julie,
Please remember this is a short form of EFT. It works for most people, on most issues, most of the time. Sometimes it’s necessary to use the full recipe as outline in Gary’s book. But I agree, this is a great quick reference, glad you like it :)

    Warm wishes,
    Sandy
