How to get the Most Benefit From Your Sessions

You could consider doing a bit of preparation before our appointment, to maximise your benefit from our time together.

Before you think – that sounds too hard – consider what one recent client did before our session. She travelled from Northern NSW, a drive of a few hours, and wanted to make sure she got the most value from our time together. So during the few days before she came to Brisbane, she spent some time thinking about what she wanted to clear.

She made extensive notes and brought a copy of the notes to our session. We then spent 15 minutes working through her notes and identifying which issue really needed our attention first.

As usually happens during counselling, the presenting issue is very often not what the real issue turns out to be – but this thinking-beforehand technique has proven very useful in helping us move to the deeper issues more quickly.

If, however, you’d rather do this exploration with me than on your own, we can begin there. Many people do come in saying they’re not really sure what’s wrong, they just know something isn’t working.

The most important thing to bring with you in any event is openness and willingness to change what you need to change.

It is not important that you understand anything at all about your body’s energy system, you will pick up lots of information as we go along, and no doubt you’ll have questions I’ll be happy to answer.
